Wow! Can you believe it is May? This year has flown by! We will be using these last few weeks for review and preview for next year. We will also continue to focus on behavior goals that can develop over the summer and hopefully stick with them for next year. Please continue to check your child's folder and agenda each night as there are a lot of important events and information to be shared for the end of year!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break! Can you believe only have 6 and 1/2 weeks left? In the upcoming weeks our primary focus will be to raise our reading levels and master math concepts and math facts. We will continue to work on building independence and self-awareness (self-control) as students prepare for the transition to third grade.

We had a great trip last week to the Center of Puppetry Arts. We learned a little bit about the different kinds of puppets used and were able to see all the work that goes into a performance like that and how it brings a character to life. Don't forget to ask your child about all the great things we've been doing with Arts Integration!

I'm excited to kick off the second half of the year as we continue to work towards building our independence and stretching our brains in preparation for third grade. It'll be here before we know it!
